Subject: rush, of course

Hey, it's my second post. Aren't you impressed? I just wanted everyone to
know that there's an irc channel named #p/g!. I was on there two nights
ago and got into a fierce argument with some lunatic wannabe rush fans.
They were trying to say that all "new" Rush, (post MP) was junk. Are
these people true Rush fans? Can we safely say that anyone who dares to
rip apart Neil's lyrics at any point is a fan? I have all their albums. I
can't find one really bad song on any album. I spend all my time on the
Internet researching and learning about Rush. Am I sick? Do I need help?
Someone answer me, please.

     Oh, by the way, I quit my last band, and am in a new band. We're
called Afterimage. We named the band this because we like Rush, and also,
because the members of the band are all the original members of my last
band, minus my braindead lead singer. An afterimage of my last band. We
are not a Rush tribute band, but we plan on doing Rush covers, originals,
and other covers. Already we are considering La Villa and YYZ, complete
with solo in the middle, like in ESL. My drummer is the closest thing to
Neil Pert, although Neil will still bury him. Oh, until September, when I
will be back, long live Rush, and I can't wait until the next album,
whatever it may be.
